also we might be hosting it actually on a lan but i'll try to make it public for people who are interested in wacky new party ptpm maps like desert extreme and ptpm partybus


also if i can find it and things, im not sure where the script went

download a demo game of zero gear or something
copy yr mw2 dir into the zero gear dir C:\prog files\steam\steamapps\zero gear\ or something, hell i dont know
replace exe files and things

Hello, I am the main host of the party, it will be held at my house. We will generaly be playing Modern Warfare 2, because it is such a good game.
If you don't have MW2 or have the legal version, ask me how to illegalize/download+install the game.
My xfire/steam is 1983vos (Please add me to you steam friends). I can't add friends because I haven't bought any game yet.

I'm in, although I won't be having MW2 because it is a massive download and I wont buy it until a proper dedicated server appears.

I would say add C&C 3 but I won't be able to download it by tomorrow, I do have the first decade compilation though.

i'm in, if its a saturday ofc also we should play l4d/l4d2 also.. and i do have mw2 cracked too :) which version though .175?

The Party is thursday the 18th of February, although we won't be playing L4D, mainly MW2, and maybe some SA:MP in between.
And you have to have the v4 crack, version 1.0.175. Because there'll be a lot of players, the chance of me being host is really big, more than 50%.
3 options: 1.  Round up 6 people in a party (steam), then select TDM. We will be one team against 'the others' every game. Significant chance of me being host.
              2.  I join a TDM game, and before it finds a game, you (and all the guys at my house) join the game. We'll have teams mixed with others. Even larger chance of me being host.
              3.  I create a private match, and you all join. We'll have a private match with only our clan. 100% chance of being host.

When I'm host, I can practically change any setting.

actually i dont think i want to be playing mw2 all day.

@ uhm: yeah I can imagine that. Maybe we can split up: one clan plays cod, another clan plays mw2, or maybe the whole group can switch for a few hours.
EDIT: MAJOR PROBLEM: Crack isn't working, v4 doesn't work any more. I'll keep you posted.

But Uhm can play codmw2 cracked on his primary account after he installed zero gear at his secondary account.

UPDATE
There is a new crack, but it´s only for the private match mode. The full MP crack will come later this week or maybe next week. So on the Lanparty we will be playing private matches, or the regular MP, if the new crack is released before the 18th.

Suggestions:

well my pc sucks so i wont be able to play mw2 anyway

trackmania is a nice suggestion. i like it. tho i doubt it everyone will install hamachi

UPDATE
There are now large Steam groups of Zero Gear-MW2 players. These players host serveral private servers. Join one of those, and we can play together. I prefer this one: http://steamcommunity.com/groups/iw4private
All this is because there are still no real cracked servers.

Sub-UPDATE
Yesterday, I was playing in a private server which I created. Suddenly a stranger joined our game, and 5 other followed. That will be very useful to fill up our servers at the LANparty tomorrow. I didn't try it yet, but when you put a tag "|HOSTING|" behind your name, more people will join your server.

Every time you want to play, a message pops up saying: disconnected from steam. However, if I click private match and start game very quickly, I am able to start a server. So I can invite you to play. All settings can be changed using the Console. There is however one drawback: I can no longer invite people. That really really sucks.
