Ok, we tried this before, but lets try it again. All getting together once a week to play the PTPM we love. Probably in the evening but we will get to that later. before we do this however, we wait for everyone to reply so we have enough people. k? sounds simple enough doest it ya nigga's!!

oh and since you can only make one choice, plz post it if you have any other days you can play besides your preffered day you cumbuckets.

I'd love to play, but my machine runs on GNU/Linux, which doesn't really run SA:MP. Or maybe I could emulate it in WINE... I'll check it out.

Ok, I say we do this in the summer holidays when everyone's got time.

We got some possibilities:

• Personal host
  Someone with network/hosting experience hosts a server. If we could put the resources on a different host (sparksptpm.co.uk) it ought to be not too bad. A playable server for 4-16 people.
  
  
  Also, that's my speedtest. The upload is right, but the download is being weird. I get this on all my computers. Welp.
• We wait and we do this Try Delux-host For €1 thing. But at the moment of writing there's only 20 cheap servers left.
• We start a donation thing and we pay €10 for a 64 player slot server for one month
• We start a donation thing and we pay €10 for a VPS so we can get a 128 player slot server for two months

Alright so chekkit. Is like dat: we either all pay or we don't play. (No frankly, we either all pay and rent OR somebody hosts no their personal PC, but it just rhymed so.)

So right, if you REALLY want to play PTPM, which I would love to do again with you, we have to send uhm some money so he can get a server. if that server wont come with any mumble/teamspeak/ventrilo server, I can host one, but only the voice comm server (yeah, sorry, no gta servers, it'd be too laggy)

So yeah please post your suggestions underneath. Are you REALLY willing to pay at least until we get somebody from the community to host? We need 100% stable monthly donations.

Two servers is a bad idea. It's costly, and it's not like there are 1000 people who wanna play on the official servers. Just go with one. I believe both SAMP and MTA provide similar functionality (though I havent been involved in ages)

I say we take the one which will draw the biggest crowd.

Yeah just pick the one that's more feature-packed and stable (I remember the crashes of 0.1b, it was something normal)

no we have a vps so we can run two without paying for either
and samp is ok (as in a 5.6 on a scale from 1 to 10)
mta is the best (except for lack of html overlay to allow streaming images/videos/sound, #xfire #steam) but it has less players


so rave says samp
and vaztec says mta

so lets do both
and well see which one is more successful
