Uppon opening the new server, I noticed a lot of new players coming in, along with some of the old coming back. This causes some friction from time to time. The old players are generally good and chat alot while playing (let's not go into details here:P) Were the new players are just starting to know the game and are a bit more..compettetive.
(Hence the choice of desert ->minigun)
Now, I started this topic So that all the new players can be redirected here if they don't understand the game, or have questions about any game modes. This topic will become the general info topic about the game, And I will be working on it from time to time. Feel free to suggest anything or if you want to help me out, just pm me.
ClassesThe classes are probably the part of the game people understand the least. Often enough, we see bodyguards and cops not sticking to plans or not helping the pm out entirely, granting him a fast death and a new map. This section will explain how every class works and what roll it has in the game.
BodyguardThe bodyguard is the first force protecting the prime minister. They spawn the closest to him, and should protect him on the road to one of the first hideouts. Bodyguards should listen to the PM's plans and make sure he gets there safely. Some players forget about this, and that's why the PM dies.
Bmedics: Bmedics should stay even closer to the pm than bodyguards, and should drive along in a car with him, so they can heal when neccesary. When at a hideout they should stay a longer distance away from the fight, so they can still shoot at enemy's. but still be close enough to the PM and Bodyguards/cops to heal.
CopsThe difference between cops and bodyguards isn't always clear. From the point I see it (looking at spawn locations) I noticed the cops spawn point is better suited for preparing a hideout. While the bodyguards drive the PM around, protecting him on the road, they can give the cops enough time to prepare a hideout with enough defensive force to give the PM a safe entry. Cops should first get some nice defensive-type guns (M4, grenades, combat shotgun) and then try to secure the hideout as soon as possible. When the hideout is secured, the bodyguards can drive the PM towards the hideout without any danger. Also, if a lot of cops are on the server, or you jsut feel like it, they can start hunting down terrorists in order to prevent them from reaching the PM.
Cmedics:Cmedics Have the same roll as Bmedics, but there is one small difference. The bmedic drives along with the PM to heal him and his comerades, the Cmedic should go to a hideout and secure it along with the other cops and wait there for the PM to arrive. As soon as the PM is at a hideout, their roll is the same as that of a bmedic: staying in between the cops/bodyguards and the PM, alowing them to heal and deal damage at the same time.
Note: After the first hideout is secured for the PM, any class, cops or bodyguards, can take each other's roll, for they are both close enough near the PM to drive him around, or start preparing a hideout, from this point onwards there is no difference.
TerroristsYour job is pure, clean, and simple: Kill the PM. Well, this is easier said than done, you have 2 different classes on your ass as soon as you get close to the PM. There are a few methods how the terrorists have more chance of killing the PM.
Gather outside a hideout and go in at onceWhat i mostly see is that a stream of terrorists start on climbing a hideout and get shot one after the other. if the terrorists just gather outside the hideout and all attack at once, it is more effective and a breaktrough may succeed.
Re-arm yourselveTerrorists have a lot of nice attack weapons, but sometimes a different weapon is needed in a particular situation. Don't be shy to go to a weapon spawn and equip yourselve with some nice weaponry instead of rushing to the PM like most terrorists do. It might pay off in the end.
Use a roadblock/PIT maneuvre/shoot on carA lot of people find it imba if the PM drives around the entire time. What most terrorists forget however, is that the Pm is in fact driving in a bomb. If you shoot it enough, it will start buring. Well, you actually want it to burn when the car is driving around 30mph. At this speed it's to slow to jump out, and to fast to step out normally. If you get the PM's car to drive this fast (by driving in front of him/roadblock) it's a certain kill. the PIT maneuvre can help to push his car off the road, then throw the PM out of his car (and shoot him right in the face). Also, on the road it's harder for bodyguards to keep up with the fast terrorists andto effectively protect the PM.
PsychopathThe discription in-game says enough: Go fuck around all you want!! :D Of course, cheating and hacking is not included.
